The D533 has a wrapless design featuring high-gloss black Canadian Rock Maple with intricate natural maple points, framing graphic white, natural and turquoise accents. Completed with two sets of double stainless steel rings sandwiching black and white rings this cue is an intricate work of art with details reminiscent of ancient Celtic knot work. The butt is protected with Dufferin’s unique UV lacquer finish to resist, chipping, scratching, fading and yellowing. The shaft is made from 100% Canadian Hard Rock White Maple and finished with an XTC ferrule and Tiger Everest layered tip. The XTC ferrule is made from an advanced thermoplastic material that flexes slightly on impact for a further reduction in vibration and increased accuracy. The XTC doesn't absorb chalk or moisture, won't discolor. The Everest Laminated Cue Tip is the most sophisticated, durable and advanced cue tip created. Each layer is carefully selected and split from the finest quality pig skins in the world. From these splits only the ten most even and durable layers are chosen. By vacuum process, Everest cue tip becomes the best laminated cue tip ever. Each Everest Laminated Cue Tip is individually tested for consistency, hardness and quality. A special red layer warns when to replace the tip. This cue tip shapes like a hard tip, hits like a medium and has a control like a soft tip.
